APPG on Ethics and Sustainability for Fashion and Hairdressing

The APPG on Ethics and Sustainability for Fashion and Hairdressing will be holding a private roundtable event to discuss further measures which can be taken to ensure clothing or products marked as "green" to consumers meet certain requirements. This meeting comes following the announcement from the Competition and Markets Authority that some fashion brands have signed formal undertakings committing to ensuring their green claims are clear and accurate. Fostering Sustainable Practices: Supporting Sustainable Prosperity

Please join the APPG for Ethics and Sustainability in Fashion for discussion between researchers from Centre for Sustainable Fashion, UAL, Centre for Enterprise and Economic Development Research, Middlesex University and Open University.

The event will explore the contribution of sustainable fashion micro and small enterprises to sustainable prosperity, examining how government and other supportive actors can help to amplify sustainability in action, recognising and supporting the work of these pioneers.
