New report launched

The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Ethics & Sustainability in Fashion held a meeting yesterday to launch Hubbub's new report entitled ‘Making the UK a global leader in Sustainable Fashion.' The report, among other things, highlights the steps that government, industry and consumers can take to create a more environmentally sustainable fashion sector.

Delegates heard first-hand results of public polling highlighting the level of public support for the sector to change, and then from prominent parliamentarians including Catherine West MP and Baroness Lola Young of Hornsey, co-chairs of the APPG for Ethics & Sustainability in Fashion. The CEO of Hubbub sought the views of companies H&M, Raeburn, Burberry and Missguided.
